Clothes Show Live Haul
Due to taking Textiles at college, I was given the chance to go to Clothes Show Live with lots of college friends. We went on Friday the 5th, and after a short coach journey to NEC Birmingham, everyone was ready to shop.
I splashed out, wanting some new make up and came back with quite a lot! After shopping for an hour, me and my friend Kat headed into the main theater with everyone to watch the Fashion Show/Runway. Most of the clothes were more to Kat's taste than mine, but I still enjoyed the show.
The first thing I picked up was a Models own goody bag. You got to pick 3 nail polishes of your choice, than they were put into a really cool bag, along with quite a few other Models Own products. The Models Own nail polishes are very expensive, priced at 5 to 7 pounds. So to get 3 of the polishes and a load of other stuff for just £10 was great!
The second thing I picked up was a ying yang choker. This cute vintage shop had a two for £5 on chokers, so me and Kat picked up the same chokers, wanting a cute little memory of the day to share :) When I put the choker on at home, I realised it wasn't actually choker length. It came down quite a bit further. Despite this, I still love it.
From the Barry M stall, I picked up a Barry M goody bag. This contained a small pink make up bag. Inside was 6 nail polishes and a bunch of other make up pieces. Barry M is my favourite brand for nail polishes. However, I wasn't sure on their make up pieces. I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed all the other pieces in the bag. Besides, the bag it came in was also just as cool as the Models Own one! I also brought a Rimmel London goody bag, which contained a small, shiny bag with goodies from the Rimmel Kate selection.
I brought a gorgeous dark tartan scarf for £6 from this really cute vintage shop. It wasn't the same shop as the choker, and had more stuff in it. The scarf was the first one i grabbed and looked at off a stand of about 150 of them and i instantly loved it. it's thicker in width than it looks, so can be folded in half too.
