Pitch Perfect 1 vs Pitch Perfect 2

I'm a huge fan of musicals, so when Pitch Perfect came along and combined my love for music and comedy, I was over the moon. I saw the first as soon as it came out, at Odeon Cinema with a group of friends. I was hooked and absolutely loved it! The actors/actresses were fantastic and the music was more than I could wish for. I had never hear of A Capella music, but fell in love with it due to Pitch Perfect. For those of you that don't know what A Capella music is, it's when a group of singers use only their voices to create music. They don't use any instruments, so all the backing track sounds and main singing comes from their voice. It's genius really and sounds so much better than instruments do!

I figured I'd let IMDb tell you a little about the film, mainly for those who haven't seen it: The Barden Bellas are a collegiate, all-girls a cappella singing group thriving on female pop songs and their perfect looks. After a disastrous failing at last year's finals, they are forced to regroup. Among the new recruits is freshman Beca, an independent, aspiring DJ with no interest in the college life. But after she meets Jesse, from the rival all-male a cappella group, Beca has a new outlook and takes it upon herself to help the Bellas find their new look and sound and get back into the competition.

When I heard Pitch Perfect 2 was coming out, I was so happy. I had been listening to the first films playlist since the film came out in 2012. I think the music and humor is my favourite part of the films.
After seeing number 2, I thought I would do a comparison of the two films and see which one I preferred. First, here is IMDb's despcription of the second film: The Bellas are back, and they are better than ever. After being humiliated in front of none other than the President of the United States of America, the Bellas are taken out of the Aca-Circuit. In order to clear their name and regain their status, the Bellas take on a seemingly impossible task: winning an International competition no American team has ever won. In order to accomplish this monumental task, they need to strengthen the bonds of friendship and sisterhood, and blow away the competition with their amazing aca-magic! With all new friends and old rivals tagging along for the trip, the Bellas can hopefully accomplish their dreams once again.

The humor - This has to go to Pitch Perfect 2. The jokes in the second film are really sneaky and un obvious, but so so funny. My favourite joker in the films is Fat Amy and one of her best lines from the second movie is when she tells Chloe "don't worry Chloe, being ginger is punishment enough." Now before you go off on one, it is meant in a jokey way; the two girls are very close friends. Plus, even I found it funny, and I am a ginger!
The plot - this is a difficult decision. Both films have a good plot and are quite similar. In both films, the Barden Bella's fight to win some sort of competition. However, in number 2, it is the world championships, a bigger competition than film number 1.
The songs - This most definitely goes to film number one. All the songs are excellent. Part of the plot in film number 2, is the Bella's 'loosing their sound.' This basically means they don't know what to sing for the first hour of the film and I think this makes the songs terrible. The songs are either too fast, too modern, too old. They just don't sound right. You will know what I mean if you have seen both films.
The characters - I much prefer the characters from film 1. Several of the girls in the Bella's graduate in the plot, so aren't featured in film number 2. Several of the characters from film 1 are in film 2, but the actresses are different! This really bugs me,making the characters in film number 1 better. Plus,in the first film the characters are new, making them exciting.
Overall - I feel both films are worth watching. But due to the bad music and boring start to film number 2, I prefer the original, first Pitch Perfect. In the second film, it takes a while to get going and I found the first hour boring. This meant only half an hour of it really appealed to me. This half an hour contained the good music, where the Bella's find their sound again. This is a personal opinion of course and hugely based on the music.

So there you have it! A break down and comparison of the two films. However, both films are great and if you haven't seen them...well, first I'd be surprised if you haven't seen them, as they are hugely popular! But, if you haven't check them out, and let me know what you think. Which one do you prefer?

Music Monday // Tunefind Website

For today's Music Monday, I am letting you guys know about a great website. It's called Tunefind and helps you find music/lyrics you are looking for. I'm obsessed with Pretty Little Liars and I always watch an episode and hear a piece of music that I love. When trying to find certain music from TV shows, you often don't know the title or lyrics. Just type the name of the show into Tunefind, find the episode you were watching and all the songs played that episode are listed there! It's great! The website also lists lots of movies.

I know it's short, but that's all for Music Monday. My current favourite songs are still the same, so I wasn't quite sure what to write today's post on, until I remembered Tunefind! Here is the link to the Tunefind Pretty Little Liars section: http://www.tunefind.com/show/pretty-little-liars

Successful Sundays // 4 Things I am grateful For

So I want to start doing a segment every Sunday, called Successful Sundays. It will be celebrating something good me or someone else has done that week. I thought it would be a nice way to end the week, start the next one and generally a lovely thing to do. Today's Successful Sunday is going to be 4 things I am grateful for.

1. The rain - That sounds odd, but I am more of a winter person than a summer person. I don't enjoy being out in the rain but I just love it when you are sat inside, all warm and cosy, having a chilled day, when it is raining outside! It makes me feel like it's Winter and nearly Christmas! (My favourite time of the year!)  Listening to the rain patter against the window, when you are curled up in comfy clothes, writing blog posts or reading a book is one of my favourite things to do. It is raining right now where I live and I feel so relaxed!
2. Music - Particularly on Sundays, I love to put on my favourite tunes and have a good sing along! I feel music puts everyone in a better mood, which is well needed on a Sunday, with the prospect of school and work hanging over you. Besides, who doesn't love a good sing song!
3. The Ariana Grande concert - I've been listening to her new album all day and it just brings back memories from one of the best nights of my life, seeing Ariana live. It was a fantastic night and gave me some great memories that I will treasure for ever. One of my favourite parts was when Ariana's microphone stopped working, so for about a minute, she couldn't sing loud enough. She kept singing and gave it her all, but the best part was the crowd. Everyone sang for her! It was truly magical and a great memory of that night. It made me realise how many people there are out there that listen to the same music as me and share an interest in the same things.
4. The world - When I was out and about Friday, I took a lovely back walk to get home. I saw several squirrels and one of them even stopped right next to my foot! It sounds silly, but it isn't every day you see a squirrel anymore. There are so many busy motorways you can take and so many car journeys, that we often miss the little things. It reminded me how beautiful our world is, and that we should take better care of it.

Summer Lookbook // OOTD

So we've been having some sun here in the UK and I've been taking full advantage of it! Today's post is going to be about one of my favourite outfits to wear at the moment, when the sun is out. Me and one of my closest friends Kat went for a cute walk, to take some blog photos and have a little catch up. She was very helpful when it came to blogging my OOTD! All the photos were taken on my camera and iphone 4s.

I had a lovely day with Kat, and I'm very happy with the photos produced! I wore my hair in a messy top knot. My make up was the make up I mentioned in my Picnic come along with me. I wore my favourite red lippy from Revlon.
I wore my previously mentioned lace top from Topshop. I chose this because it is one of my favourite summer tops and I felt it went great with the red lippy. Unfortunately, I cannot link any of the items mentioned. Even, my skirt, which I brought from New Look, a long time ago. It is age 10-11! It fits well and considering the small size, it fit my size 8 body! The skirt is comfy and a perfect length. I wore my two Nomination bracelets and my three rings. My anklet is from Avon and my necklace is from Primark. My sunglasses are from New Look and are the round ones with the golden frames. My tights are just plain black, thin ones from Primark and my shoes are from Office, but are made by Nike. And finally, my favourite item is my backpack. This backpack is from New Look and is so gorgeous and summer/festival ready! It is black and has gold studded detail and tassels. It is the perfect size to take on a walk or to town, as it holds all your essentials and is not too big or bulky. It is easy to carry round, and the adjustable straps make it perfect for every occasion; you can change it up, from day to night.

So there you have it, my OOTD! I am going to be doing a look book of this outfit on YouTube,  so look out for that. My YouTube is linked at the top of my blog page. That's all for today's post, I hope you have had a great weekend. It's finally Friday and the weekend is approaching! Let me know what you are up to and if you want to see more OOTD's and Lookbooks!

Come Along With Me //Picnic Edition

As I said in a previous post, one thing I want to do more of this summer is picnics.Me and two of my closest friends went to Aylestone Meadows yesterday for a cute picnic. We hadn't been walking long when we came across a nice clearing bit. We settled down on a picnic blanket, right in the sun and it was a lovely, chilled out day, as we chatted.

My picnic essentials:

A good picnic blanket - probably the most important thing (aside from yummy food!), a picnic blanket means you can all sit down and don't have to sit on jumpers or jackets and get things muddy. The picnic blanket we took was a large square shaped, covered in cow print. The top was soft, as you would expect. The bottom was a waterproof material. Although it wasn't raining, having one with a waterproof bottom is great, as you don't get wet.
Yummy food! - An obvious thing, but picnic food is always good. I love having fruit at picnics; apples and strawberries are two good ones. Try to keep a good balance of healthy and unhealthy food choices. You can bring chocolate biscuits, but make sure you have some salad or fruit too. My top three foods to take on a picnic are; cold pizza (this sounds weird but is great!), sausage rolls (a classic picnic food) and cheese strings (you're never too old for a cheese string!)
Lots of water - I say water, as it is the best thing for you, especially when in the sun. However, squash or pop will also do. You will get thirsty than you think at a picnic and need moisture after eating lots of dry food.
Sunglasses and Sun cream - The two important S'! If it is a hot day, you will need these. Personally, I think sunglasses complete an outfit and always stick them in my back, even if it is not currently sunny. I have sensitive eyes and it can get sunny quickly. My red hair and fair skin means I burn easily, so I should wear sun cream. Stupidly, I did not put any on yesterday and I was in the sun for a good 5 hours! I burnt my shoulders badly and my face.
A portable phone charger - If you are in the middle of a field and your phone dies, a portable charger is essential. Plus, if your phone dies, you can't take any good photos!
Camera - If you are a blogger like me or just can't get enough of Instagram (also like me!), a good camera is an essential. I currently take my photos on my small Nikon Coolpix L21. It is a good camera, but i am looking to upgrade. One of the girls I was at the picnic with has a great camera and I am looking to get one like hers.

I had a really fun day with the girls and we organised another picnic for next week with several other friends of ours. Picnics are a great way to get everyone together. I've attached some photos I took and I'm also going to show you what I wore and what make up I choose.

The top I wore is from Topshop's tall section. Funnily enough, I'm not that tall, but this is a very cropped top, so fitted almost like a normal top. It is still short, with thick straps and a slightly plunging neck. The lace detail is so beautiful and this may be one of my all time favourite tops. It is casual enough to wear out, but could be a gorgeous edition to a posher outfit, maybe with heels. I cannot remember how much it cost me, as I brought it a long time ago,but it was probably around the £10-£15 mark.

The bottom of this top is my favourite part. The hem sticks out in a jagged motion and is made of lace detail. It looks great over the top of a skirt or pair of black jeans, where the detail is shown well.

I also wore a tight, grey skirt from Primark. They do all kind of colors and they only cost £3! Paired with the white top, it looked great.

For accessories, I wore this cute anklet my mum's best friend brought me for my birthday. It is from Avon and was a present, so I don't have the price.
Attached to it,is a small jewel that glimmers in the light and a tiny N. N for Niamh! This looks really cute and anklets make an outfit 10 x cuter!
I also wore a a silver coloured necklace from Primark. This is my new favourite necklace and it was so cheap! It has a silver chain and a clasp to do it up.
I wore my Pandora March birthstone ring, my 9 carat gold, Claddagh ring and finally my PastelCloud's Tiara ring.

The final part of my come along with me is my make up. My FOTD was what I have been constantly wearing recently. I don't like to wear lots of make up in the heat, as it just slides around my face. So I wore only the smallest bit of foundation on my chin and T-Zone. I then filled in my eyebrows with the shade Chocolate from my W7 In The Buff eyeshadow palette. I used  the shade Camel from the same palette on my eyelid and lower lash line. I used Collection Extreme felt eye liner on my eyelid and my Natural Collection Kohl liner on my lower lash line. I then used my Sleek blush in Rose Gold, which is such a gorgeous pink shade that contains flecks of gold. The bronzer I used was mentioned in a previous post and is by MUA, shade 3. My mascara is great at brushing all my lashes and making sure they don't clump together. It is the Rimmel Kate limited edition mascara. The final part of my make up is my favourite part; choosing what lipstick! I have plenty of them and to match the sunny, summery feel, I used Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable balm stain in 045, Romantic.

So that's all you need to know for my come along with me, picnic edition! I hope you enjoyed this; I really enjoy writing Come along with me blog posts and can't wait to do another one!

Music Monday // Current Favourite Songs

So it's been a while, but Music Monday is back. Today I'm going to talk about my current favourite songs. I switch between music and my music varies from pop, to Disney, to country, basically the whole lot! When I find a new favourite song, I tend to listen to it on repeat and sing the hell out of it (even though I'm a terrible singer!). So my favourite songs change often, because I listen to the same song over and over, eventually making myself bored of it!

But for now, here are my current favourites songs:
1. Shut Up And Dance, by Walk The Moon - This is your typical pop/rock song combined, with great, yet simple lyrics that you can sing along to. I love the lyrics and the chorus is such a good part to sing along to! It is my favourite at the moment and I discovered it through Capital FM, as it's currently in the charts. I had never heard of Walk The Moon, but liked the deep, rock sound of their voices, so searched them on YouTube. I really enjoyed lots of their other music too, so be sure to check them out!

2. Good For You, by Selena Gomez - I had an obsession with Selena and her music when I was younger. Around 9/10, when I used to watch Wizards Of Waverly Place, I discovered her music. I listened to it non stop for a long time and her song 'A Year Without Rain' is one of my all time favourite songs. Partly due to my old obsession with her, I researched her new album Starz Dance and fell in love with almost every song. Her voice is so angelic, yet has a good hard tone to it. Good For You isn't the kind of song I would usually listen to; the topic of the song makes me want to roll my eyes. However, I fell in love with the song as soon as I listened to it. It's lovely and slow and Selena sings perfectly in it.

3. You Don't Know Me, by Ariana Grande - I went to see Ari live in June and absolutely adored it! It was one of the best nights of my life. I'm a huge fan of all her music, and first discovered her on the kids show Victorious, where she played Cat Valentine. The show had a lot of singing and her voice made me fall in love. You Don't Know Me, is one of my favourites as the lyrics are fierce, but her voice is so angelic. The song is basically a message to the people that hate on her, that they don't truly know her and they judge her based on what they see on the internet, which is only part of her life. It's inspiring and as an Ari fan makes me think 'YES, YOU GO GIRL!'. She's putting herself out there and singing about something that's meaningful, rather than singing about sex or drugs or partying, like most songs these days.

So those are my current favourite songs, for Music Monday. Let me know what you're favourites are and if there are any songs/artists you think I should check out?

Polagram App Review

So today's post is going to be slightly different to my usual product reviews. I am reviewing the apple/android app, Polagram. This app lets you order prints of your photos, straight from your phone, as long as you have some sort of internet connection. The app is free, which makes it a winner from the start. I first came across this app through Instagram. An instagramer I followed put up a post of some Polaroid shaped photos, raving about the app Polagram. It was her post that made me download the app in the first place.

First off, let me say that I am in love with this app. As well as being free, the prints are decent price and great quality. If you go through the Instagram hashtag #Polagram, lots of people have posted photos, containing a £5 off voucher code. This codes are given out when you make an order, meaning there are thousands of them all over the internet. Fueled by the good reviews and £5 off voucher, I went ahead and made a small order. I order 11 Polaroid style prints. The voucher i used covered the complete cost of the prints, so all I had to pay was postage! This meant the whole order only cost me £1.69! The app has a Q&A section, which contains everything you need to know. Another reason I loved the app. You knew all the answers and exactly how much postage was, depending on where you live. For example, if you live in the UK, like me, the postage was the cheapest possible.

I was delighted and couldn't wait to see how the prints turned out. Polagram is most known for being one of the cheapest apps that offer square Polaroid shaped prints. However, they also do regular 6 by 4 prints, etc. They offer canvases, posters, photo books, basically the whole lot.
The order form was easy to complete, basic and simple. In putting my card details was so easy, which is exactly what you want when sharing your details with a 2nd party.

The prints arrived within the week. I got the dispatched email the day after I ordered the prints, which was fantastic. Delivered to me was a slim, cardboard box, the kind you get Amazon orders in. Inside this was a pink envelope that contained the prints.
On the back of the envelope there was writing (shown below)

When I opened the envelope, the prints were stacked neatly together. At first I was worried the ink may have smudged together, as the prints were pressed together. I shouldn't have worried. They were printed on fujifilm photo paper and perfectly fine.

The Polaroids were printed beautifully and in such high quality. The quality of the photos were still there and somehow, they looked better than on my phone! As i have said in previous posts, I love having the photos to hold and display. When my new room is done, these are going straight on the wall, probably clipped to fairy lights with pegs! The white border around the photo is sophisticated and makes them look just like real Polaroids.

I have added this photo, to clearly show the white border.
Overall I highly recommend this app, because of the quality of photos and cheap prices. Since my first order, I ordered 2 more orders. I now have 44 of these stunning Polaroids to display and I am very happy with them. The only downside I have is the slip of paper they put in with the order. It is a very cute idea, a little piece of paper with instructions on how to turn the paper into an origami bird. However, they put one in every order, and personally I think it is a waste of paper.

Other than that, I love this app!
Thanks for reading, make sure you check out my social media and bloglovin page! My instagram page is linked here:  https://instagram.com/n.rosie/
Let me know if you love this app or order any prints!

10 things I want to do this Summer

Where I live, the summer holidays have already began. As I have just gotten back into blogging, I'm slightly late writing this post, but here it is. 10 things I want to do this summer. I love reading other peoples bucket lists and wish lists. I find them so interesting, often sharing the same goals as others. Plus they are a great way to get inspiration! If you don't know what you want to do this summer, take a look at my post and the millions of others on the internet. You are bound to come across an idea that sparks your interest.

I go back to college the first week of September. This will be around the time, I look back on this post and see which things off my list I have accomplished. I'm hoping to do a post based on this, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Most of these ideas are mine and personal things. Some of them, as I've mentioned, are probably ideas I've picked up over time from other people, whether its other blogs, social media, friends or family. So here goes!

1. Continue to write blog posts. It sounds cheesy and very obvious, but I'm not the best blogger in the world and recently I've struggled to find the time or motivation to blog. I want to get back at it, as when I do it, I love it. I love the relaxation of writing and the satisfied feeling I get when I press publish.
2. Go on picnics. Whether this is with my friends or family, I just love a good old fashioned picnic. Being sat on a blanket under the summer sun and breathing in the fresh air. Whilst eating great food of course! I love picnic food, things like sausage rolls and fresh fruit, sandwiches wrapped in tinfoil! Picnics are fun with friends or family and especially if you pick a good place. I have two picnic moods. The kind where I want to be at a busy park, like Abbey Park Leicester, with lots and lots of people. Or the kind where I like it to be me and a close friend, sat at a desolate, random spot, like by a canal.
3. Take long walks. Pretty simple really, but I enjoy walking. I actually walk quite a lot and have strong legs, so I can just walk for hours. Spontaneous, adventurous walks are the best. I love exploring new places, so walking around without much of a plan or a solid destination is great. Just don't get lost along the way! If I want some alone time, I head for a canal walk and put my headphones in. If I want to meet up with friends, organising a walk with them is great, especially if you walk to a certain place, maybe a shopping centre!
4. Go shopping. No need to elaborate on that really, I just love to shop! With friends is fun, but if I'm honest I love shopping with my mum! It's more relaxed and you get to spend time together having fun. Plus, she might even buy me something ;)
5. Go to an outdoor pool. I love swimming and I've always wanted to go to an outdoor pool . I know there isn't many where I live, but there has to be one near by. I want to go to one when it's really hot, so the pool isn't too cold!
6. Do more swimming. whether it's in an outdoor or an indoor pool, swimming is my favourite sport and one of my favourite past times. When you put your head underwater, it's like being in a different world, a quieter, slower one. I feel like time slows down. I think my love for this came from being a child, when I used to imagine mermaids lived in the deep bottom end of the pool. So I always use to swim underwater and in swimming lessons, I would do my very best. I thought the more medals I gained, the more mermaids I would get to see! Obviously I don't think that now, but the memory and love for swimming is still there. Plus, I'm a strong swimmer.
7. Read more classic books. Reading is my favourite past time and one of my favourite things to do. I'm a strong reader and have been reading since I was 4 or 5. I have the capability to read the old classics, like Little Women and The Great Gatsby. So this summer, I want to read more of the classics. Reading old fashioned books broadens your vocabulary, which would be very helpful to me, as I want to become an author. Plus I love history, so reading the classics would be combining two of my loves!
8. Go out more. I'm a very big home person and as soon as I run out of money and motivation, I start to say no whenever people ask me plans. But I want to stop letting money control what I do. For example, if my mum asks if I want to go food shopping with her, I want to say yes. Basically I want to make sure I don't waste this summer and be spontaneous!
9. Go camping. Although I'm not the biggest camping fan, I love nature and I love spending raw time out in the open with friends or family. Round a camp-fire, tucked up in blankets and eating marshmallows, I feel everyone is in a great mood. Plus people are more open. I don't know what it is about camping, but people talk to you more and talk about deeper subjects like life and death, love and loneliness. Maybe it's the fact that there is nowhere to go. You're all out in the open, sharing tents and being close. But whatever it is, I love it. This mixed with the sense of adventure it gives me, makes me want to go camping more often.
10. Try and do something every day. It doesn't have to be something big. It could be try a new food, or print off a photo or finish a chapter of a book. But just make sure I am doing something I enjoy every single day. This way, none of my Summer holidays will be wasted.

That's all for today's post, I hope this inspired you, maybe to write your own post or add something to your list!

Current Beauty Favourites

When I started this blog, I enjoyed it, but not enough to let it take over and schedule my life. This led to few posts and when it hit March, I had stopped posting all together. Several things have happened in my life since March, some good, some bad, some just events. But I think I've finally discovered my passion for writing again and want to start this post by apologising for the lack of posts. I'm hoping to get my blog back up and running again. If anyone has any advice or feedback for me, it would be very welcome! My Bloglovin page is a good place to send me feedback. Down the sidebar is a link for my page and I would appreciate it you would take a look and maybe give me a follow!

On to today's post now. Throughout June, I discovered a few of my new favourite beauty items. But, as some are old favourites, this is not going to be my June favourites. Some of my current favourites have been mentioned in old blog posts, so be sure to scroll back through my archives and check out some old posts!

The first product I'm going to mention are a set of four make up brushes. Brushes that are soft, but durable are essential to any make up routine. I put all my make up on using brushes; I feel like using my hands makes my face dirtier and makes the make up very warm, sometimes making it run under my fingertips, as I struggle to apply it. If you are the type of person that applies make up with fingertips, you may occasionally need a brush. For parts of your face that are detailed (such as eyes or eyebrows), you may want to use a brush. I have my trusty Real Techniques brushes, which I raved about in this previous post: http://findingniamh.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/real-techniques-brushes-review.html

But when on the hunt for some very cheap alternatives, I came across the NiceEshop 4 Piece Brush set. These brushes only cost me £3.99! They were so cheap, I presumed they would not be great quality. However, they had four star reviews and I was in desperate need. If they turned out to be rubbish, I could replace them as soon as I had the money. The link I have inserted will take you to the set I brought. However, the same brand sells different colours and a wider variety of brushes, including ones for your eye make up. The set I brought are for your face make up such as foundation.
The brushes arrived within the week, neatly packaged, as you would expect from Amazon. Upon opening, the brushes released a slight, potent chemical smell. However, after a few uses, this smell went away. Even so, the smell did not bother me in the first place. If you find the smell too overpowering, you can just wash the brushes using something like Johnsons' Baby Shampoo.
On first use, I was shocked by these brushes. Sure, they aren't as good as The Real Techniques, but for such cheap brushes, they were incredible! They are very soft on the skin, full and durable. Now and then a few hairs fall out, but this is expected from cheaper brushes. The Gold and black handle is smooth, easy to grip and matches the Real Techniques Core Kit very well.

The four brushes have different heads. One has a completely flat head and one has a slightly rounded head. The third brush is pointed and good for under eye concealer, in my opinion, because it can reach all the nooks and dips around your eyes. The forth brush has a rounded head, that is longer at one end. This makes it tilted and useful for contour, or on the apples of your cheeks.
The brushes are Synthetic, so do consider this if you go to buy them. Also consider, that the brushes are small, probably too small for powder. However, I have a small face, so these were perfect size. Based upon reviews I read before buying, a lot of people use the brushes for eye make up, if they are too big for their face shape. Thinking about it, you win either way!

My next favourite are eye products. The first are eye lash curlers, from Models Own. I have had these years. I feel like they are something you have straight from the beginning, as soon as you get into make up. Even though I have had these years, they still work wonders. They are metal curlers and coloured silver, which is very simple but looks more sophisticated than say, a pink pair would. They clamp my lashes well and do the job, making sure every lash is curled. In my routine, I feel like curling my eyelashes is a must. My lashes are super long, but not very curly. Using these, shows just how long my lashes are.

My second eye product is the Rimmel Kate Mascara. It is limited edition and quite pricey for a drugstore mascara. It is totally worth it though. I brought mine in the shade Jet Black. This is the deepest black shade. The packaging of this product is very sleek, yet simple. The lid has a small crown, the sign of Rimmel London, which is a nice touch and looks very cute in photos! The metallic packaging is reflective, meaning you can see yourself in it. This sounds silly, but is fantastic if you are applying make up on the go. It acts as a mirror! I doubt this is why the packaging is metallic coloured, but it's a neat trick!
The broken heart brush curves to fit your lashes perfectly. This means it coats all the lashes evenly, including those hard to reach inner lashes. It does not make my lashes clumpy. It separates them and lengthens them so well! My personal reason for loving this mascara is the brush shape. It really is excellent at coating every single lash and it makes the job ten times easier, because it changes to fit your lashes.

My final eye favourite is a Barry M Dazzle Dust. Mine is in the shade 51, which is a gorgeous light purple shade. It has tiny flecks of silver and looks beautiful, especially on fair skin tones. I like to apply this shadow when I am wearing a basic make up look. It would be very good as a base coat, to then blend out and adapt. Do not let the consistency of this product put you off. It is a loose powder shadow, which looks and sounds scary! But, as long as you are very careful not to throw it around and make sure you screw the lid on properly after use, it really isn't scary. It is loose, which means you can make it as pigmented and as dark as you like; you can build it up in layers. This shadow lasts pretty much all day. When it begins to wear off, it fades to a softer shade, loosing some glitter. However, I like this aspect. If you want it to last a long time, you will probably need to re apply every few hours. I often like to put this shadow just over my lash line, rather than blending it across my whole eye lid. For £4.59, this product is great and will last me a very long time. The tiniest dab of your brush into the pot, goes a very long way!

My next favourite is my only face product. The MUA Bronzer in Shade 3. I have only just gotten into contouring and bronzing up my face. So I wanted a cheap bronzer to get me started. I got more than I bargained for here, as this MUA Bronzer is actually very good. It is a matte shade, so contains no glitter. It is pigmented, but not too much. This is good for me, as I prefer to build the colour, than it all come out of the pot with one swipe of my brush! I chose shade 3, even though I am fair skinned. This is because, in the shop, the other two shades did not look dark enough. At £1, this bronzer is perfect for beginners at contouring. The only downside I have is the packaging. I find it hard to open, but the more I open it, the easier it gets. This is the only downfall and for £1, you can't go wrong!

My final two favourites are lip products. I have really dry lips, especially throughout winter. I had heard about the Carmex Lipbalm and wanted to see what the hype was about. The results were incredible. Within a week of applying the lipbalm every day, my lips were no longer dry and cracked. They felt moisturised. The lipbalm does exactly what it says on the tube. When you apply it, it makes your lips feel tingly and soothed. It is a slightly strange feeling at first, but after a while you get used to it and you begin to realise that the feeling is helping your lips. This is one of my staple products and I always have it with me, in my pocket or bag. However, when this one runs out, I will not repurchase the tube version. I will buy the applicator or pot version, as I personally find the squeezable tube annoying and hard to get product out of.

My final favourite is the Sleek Matte Me Lipgloss, in the shade Birthday Suit. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! First off, the packaging is gorgeous. It lives up to the company name as it is sleek and sophisticated. You can clearly see the product colour through the clear plastic, which I also love, There is no surprise towards the shade when you open the product. I ordered mine online, as they had ran out in the stores near me. It came packaged in thin plastic, which protected the product from spilling. The dofer applicator applies the product well. In the tube, this product is a lipgloss. But, when on your lips, it dries matte and becomes a lipstick! Clever and original, I was instantly drawn to this product. It looks beautiful on the lips and Birthday Suit is a gorgeous, darkish nude colour. It is my perfect nude!
My favourite thing about this product is the gloss to lipstick consistency and how long it lasts. You can eat and drink with this product on and none comes off, because it is matte! It lasts several hours, for me a whole school day and I don't have to re apply it.
At £4.99, I cannot recommend this product enough!
